Puma Announces Plans to Create 50 Jobs in Michigan

Puma Biotechnology, Inc. (Nasdaq: PBYI), a biopharmaceutical company, today announced that it plans to create 50 jobs in Michigan over the next three years. The company will be expanding its operations at its Ann Arbor, Michigan facility.

"We are excited about our plans to expand our operations in Ann Arbor and create 50 jobs in Michigan over the next three years," said Alan Auerbach, Chief Executive Officer of Puma Biotechnology. "The state of Michigan has been very supportive of our business and we are grateful for the opportunity to grow our presence here."

Puma Biotechnology plans to commence operations at its expanded facility in the third quarter of 2019.

Puma Enters into Licensing Agreement with J.C. Penney

On July 9, 2019, Puma SE entered into a licensing agreement with J.C. Penney Company, Inc. Pursuant to the agreement, J.C. Penney will produce and sell a women's contemporary fashion collection designed by Puma.

The collection is scheduled to launch in February 2020 and will be available in J.C. Penney stores and online. The agreement marks Puma's first entry into the U.S. department store market in over a decade.

Commenting on the licensing agreement, Bjørn Gulden, Chief Executive Officer of Puma, said:

Puma Launches First Made-In-USA Collection
