UNC basketball player wear puma shoes

UNC basketball players have always had a strong affiliation with Nike. That is, until now. This year, several UNC basketball players were spotted wearing Puma shoes. So, what does this mean for UNC basketball? And, more importantly, what does it mean for Puma?

To answer the first question, it's important to understand why Nike has been such a big deal in college athletics. In short, Nike offers schools and their athletes a lot of money in both endorsements and sponsorship deals. For prominent programs like UNC, this money can be very important. It can help cover the costs of running a top-tier athletic program and give players additional financial support.

So why would any school consider breaking away from Nike? Well, part of it may have to do with the recent controversies at Nike. The company has been under fire for years over issues such as labor practices and working conditions in its factories. Some schools may not want to be associated with a company that has such a poor track record.

Puma can certainly capitalize on this by offering universities more favorable sponsorship deals. In addition, Puma can also offer its athletes better endorsement deals. This could be particularly appealing to younger athletes who are still trying to establish their careers.

Of course, it's still early in the season and it's unclear how things will play out. But it will be interesting to see if other schools follow UNC's lead and switch over to Puma.

Over the next year, Rihanna will work on developing new product lines as well as creative marketing campaigns. "I'm excited to join the team at PUMA and contribute to the future of the brand," said Rihanna. "I've been a fan of PUMA for many years and I can't wait to share my ideas and vision with the team."

This isn't Rihanna's first time working with fashion brands: she's also collaborated with Manolo Blahnik, River Island, and Dior. In an interview with The New York Times this week, she spoke about her love for design. "I love designing," she said. "I've been doing it since I was a little girl. The thing I love most about designing is bringing something to life that didn't exist before."

Puma sued for $1 million over Fenty Trainer allegedly copied from Nike design

Puma is being sued for $1 million by Nike over allegations that the Puma Fenty Trainer was copied from a Nike design.

The Puma Fenty Trainer was released in August 2017, and quickly became one of the company's most popular sneakers. However, Nike has now claimed that the design of the trainer was copied from a Nike shoe called the Air Jordan III.

In a statement, Nike said: "Today, we filed a lawsuit against Puma for copying our Air Jordan III sneaker. Puma's Fenty Trainer shoe is nearly identical to our design, violating our intellectual property rights. We are committed to protecting our intellectual property and enforcing our rights to the fullest extent of the law."

Puma has denied any wrongdoing, and said in a statement: "Puma has not infringed on any intellectual property rights of Nike or any other third party. We are confident that we will be successful in defending these allegations."
