Puma Becomes the New Face of Nike
Puma Becomes the New Face of Nike
Nike, one of the most popular and successful shoe brands in the world, has announced a new partnership with Puma.
Puma will now become the exclusive supplier of sneakers for Nike, and the two companies have pledged to work together on future collaborative projects.
The news comes as a surprise to many, as Puma had been struggling in recent years to keep up with Nike's market share.
Industry analysts are already speculating about what this new deal might mean for both brands.
For Nike, the move could be seen as an attempt to reinvigorate its business and recapture some of the market share that Puma has been taking away.
Puma, meanwhile, stands to benefit from access to Nike's resources and expertise, which should help it compete more effectively against its rivals.
Both companies are likely to see a boost in sales as a result of this new alliance.
It will be interesting to see how the relationship between Nike and Puma develops over time, and what new products and branding initiatives they come up with.
Puma Releases Sneakily Sexy Ads
What began as a playful teaser campaign on Instagram has blown up into a full-blown ad campaign complete with billboards and bus stop posters.
If you have an Instagram account, you may have seen Puma's latest ads. The ads are all about being sexy and confident, and they feature women of all shapes and sizes. The tagline for the campaign is "Do You", and Puma encourages women to be themselves and to own their sexiness.
The response to the ads has been overwhelmingly positive. People are praising Puma for featuring such a wide range of body types, and many women are saying that the ads have made them feel more confident about themselves.
Some people have criticized Puma for objectifying women, but others argue that the ads are empowering. In any case, it's clear that Puma is trying to make a statement with these ads, and they've definitely succeeded in getting people talking.
Is Puma Finally Ready to Take on the Giants?
For the last few years, the sneaker industry has been dominated by two brands: Nike and Adidas. But a new challenger may be finally ready to take on the giants.
Puma, which was once one of the biggest names in sneakers, has been struggling in recent years. But the brand has made a major comeback in recent months, thanks to a series of successful collaborations with celebrities and athletes.
In particular, Puma has had success with its Ignite evoKNIT sneakers, which have become some of the best-selling shoes in the company's history. And the brand is now gearing up for a major assault on the sneaker market.
Later this year, Puma plans to release a new sneaker called the Phenom. The Phenom is designed to appeal to young athletes, and Puma is hoping that it will help them recapture some of the market share that they have lost to Nike and Adidas.
The Phenom isn't the only weapon that Puma has up its sleeve. The brand is also planning to launch a new line of lifestyle sneakers called Tsugi. And they are also working on a new range of running shoes called Pulse XT.
So far, Nike and Adidas have seemed largely unthreatened by Puma's resurgence. But with so many new products hitting the market, it's only a matter of time before Puma starts making serious headway against the industry giants.

Puma Overtakes Adidas in Sales
For the first time in recent history, Puma has outsold Adidas in sales.
The sportswear giant's CEO, Björn Gulden, attributes the surge to a "shift in consumer behaviour", with an increasing number of people buying Puma products online.
In a statement, Gulden said: "Our digital transformation has been key to this success and we will continue to invest in this area to ensure we maintain our lead."
Puma's online sales increased by 39% in the first six months of 2018, while Adidas's grew by just 15%. This helped contribute to Puma's global market share rising from 7.8% to 8.5%.
Adidas is still far larger than Puma – it recorded sales of €19.3bn (£17.3bn) last year compared with Puma's €3.8bn (£3.4bn) – but the German company is now starting to feel the heat from its smaller rival.
Gulden expects Puma to overtake Adidas in terms of sales within the next two years.
